Larry Lamb is coming to Brecon...

The Hours Cafe & Bookshop are thrilled to be hosting Actor turned Novelist Larry Lamb on his Book Tour this Autumn.

The atmospheric Cathedral Tithe Barn will be the setting for an intimate evening of conversation, questions and laughter as Larry stops off in Brecon on his tour from Billericay to discuss his debut novel 'aall Wrapped Up'.

A hugely successful Actor of Stage and Screen as well as a Presenter, Larry is now synonymous with his role as 'Miiiick’ to Alison Steadman's 'Pammm' in the hit sitcom Gavin & Stacey. 

'All Wrapped Up' is set against a backdrop of political turmoil on a Caribbean island, fittingly on a film set, where the first assistant director is determined to see his film through – if the chaos doesn’t consume them first. 

The novel blends sharp dialogue, candid nuts and bolts of behind the scenes on a filmset with all its inherent trials and tribulations to create a compelling portrait of non-blockbuster filmmaking under fire - where the real battle isn't just on screen.

Leigh Hendra who co-owns The Hours with her partner Nicky Bickerton said: 'We can't wait to host the lovely Larry Lamb in Brecon. The event promises to be a fascinating evening in the company of one of our best-loved Actors turned Writers and our lucky audience are in for a real treat'.
